I grew up in Dexter and graduated from Eastern Michigan University.  Years later, I was fortunate enough to go back to school and get my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. 

My teaching experience began at Burns Park in September 2001, and I have taught 4th and 5th grade since coming here.

My oldest daughter, Chloe, is a Junior at Western Michigan and my other daughter, Madison, is a Senior at Pioneer High School. My wife, Kathy, is the Office Professional at Burns Park. 

I enjoy doing yard work and playing ice hockey. Of course, I can't start the day without having a good cup of coffee.
