Welcome to 5th grade!  I’m so excited to be teaching 5th grade here at Carpenter Elementary School.  I feel very at home here amongst this strong and passionate group of educators. 

Time really flys when you’re having fun, as this is my 24th year in education.  I began my career as a fifth grade teacher just outside of Chicago, Illinois, where I grew up.  I’ve truly done it all inside and outside of the classroom, but couldn’t be happier returning full circle to 5th grade.  I’m so grateful to be able to spend everyday doing what I love!

When I’m not at Carpenter, I love to spend time with my wonderful wife, two awesome children and two very energetic dogs.  We enjoy time golfing, playing basketball and soccer, and hiking with our dogs.  I’m very much looking forward to learning and growing along side our students!
